So I absolutely believe if you wanna get clean this is a great program. It is definitely on the stricter side but their success rate is pretty high. I would give them five stars but it’s recently come to my attention the house assigns sponsors to guys at the house. Mostly graduates that have little clean time (most cases they’re just around a year clean) and little to no working knowledge of the twelve steps. Which anyone who knows anything about twelve step programs should know is EXTREMLY dangerous. In my opinion it’s a great program but the assigning sponsors thing is kinda them over stepping their bounds and going outside of what a halfway house is for. Tim, the program director, is also extremely callous and just plain mean. It’s definitely past time for him to retire. He should not be working with men in early recovery. As belittling them is also dangerous and detrimental to their self esteem as well as their recovery. Once again overall it is a good program with high success rates. Also a big issue with the house is the reasons they throw people out. You can be thrown out for lighting a candle, vaping, over sleeping, or eating food in your room, but men who relapse and put the recovery of every man in the house are given second chances and allowed to stay instead of being sent back to treatment.
