    Drug Rehabilitation

Getting sober on your own is not only dangerous during the initial detox, it is also more likely to result in a relapse later on. Addiction treatment centers provide a monitored environment where you will get the medical attention you need, as well as the emotional support to overcome drug or alcohol abuse.

    Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) comprise regular visits to the Arkansas facility that provides the therapy. IOP is suitable for patients who have been treated in residential treatment programs. Harbor House‘s patients gradually get back to their routine life.

    Aftercare Support

Treatment is just the first step to maintaining sobriety. After treatment, aftercare support at Harbor House helps the individual adjust to a life without substances. This support may involve a sober living home in or near Fort Smith, AR, career counseling, or educational assistance. This is when a relapse prevention plan begins to take shape.

    Outpatient

An outpatient treatment program is set up to help with alcohol or drug addiction, or a co-occurring disorder. The patient must attend the Arkansas facility for their therapy and other programs but are able to return home each night. The frequency of mandatory attendance decreases after much of Harbor House‘s program is complete.
