The Ninilchik Traditional Council (NTC) is a Federally Recognized Tribe and Native Non-Profit Corporation located in Ninilchik, Alaska, devoted to improving the lives of Alaska Native people. Since its inception in 1964, NTC has grown to include a variety of tribal programs, including a Health Clinic, Education Department, Elder and Youth Services, and Counseling and Addiction Services. From outpatient treatment and aftercare services to intensive residential treatment, NTC is prepared to help individuals who are struggling with alcohol or drug addiction. The addiction treatment programs seek to provide comprehensive, culturally appropriate, and comprehensive services that address the individual and family needs of the people they serve. Services include case management, relapse prevention, counseling and mental health services, substance use education, and referral to other supportive services.
