Big Island Substance Abuse Council (BISAC) was founded in 1956 on the Big Island of Hawaii. The organization’s mission is to help people struggling with addiction to get sober and stay sober. BISAC provides a variety of services to its clients, including individual and group counseling, relapse prevention, and case management. The organization also offers educational programs for families and children affected by addiction. In addition, BISAC operates a 24-hour hotline that provides crisis counseling and referral services. Over the years, the organization has helped thousands of people turn their lives around and reclaim their sobriety. Today, BISAC remains committed to helping those in need and making a positive impact on the community.
